Pretenders lead singer, Chrissie Hynde, says, quite seriously it seems, that leaders of multinational corporations involved in business scandals should be assassinated because "when no one will listen any more, individuals have to take the law into their own hands." (This is the same Chrissie Hynde who is reportedly a vegetarian because she "[doesn't] believe there is any justifiable reason for killing any animal unless perhaps if it's killing you.") We were going to suggest that leaders of multinational corporations involved in business scandals be subjected to Chrissie Hynde's latest CD, but we do have a few morals, and assassination seems far more humane.
