Last week, a story about a now-homeless Wall Street Journal reporter made the rounds. He's lived in his car for years, now he's getting a book deal. Honestly, it was too boring to report on Gawker. But now comes the fun backlash.

Jon Bigness (we know, Mr. Bigness, it slays us too) sends a hilarious letter to media reporter Jim Romenesko: "I was forced to leave the Journal in 1996 after it was discovered that I knew about as much about high finance as I do the feminine hygiene habits of Barbara Bush." After taking and leaving a newspaper job in Chicago, Mr. Bigness began his own horrific descent. "This is what my life has come to since leaving The Wall Street Journal: performing stand-up comedy with an Arab-American comedian. It's so horrible! Tragic, really. Only a six-figure book deal and made-for-TV movie could make me feel better. Or maybe just a Snickers bar and can of Mountain Dew."
