MTV debuted its new show "One Bad Trip" last night. Their premise: they enlist the "hardest partiers in the world to infiltrate some of the most notorious, craziest spots on earth and get as wild as they can." (Uh, gag?) The reality show bit: MTV has friends and family spy on and humiliate the party animals. Comedy ensues... maybe.

In episode one, Vegas Hot Spots sets bachelor Russ and his pals up on their patented Bachelor's Last Stand package, which consists of hookers and hot tubs or something typically Vegas-ey. Russ' fiance and future mother-in-law spy on the goings-on.

But reliable sources — well, fairly reliable sources — have suggested that Russ and his fiance were not only not engaged, but were merely working MTV for the free vacation in Vegas and some airtime. Did MTV itself get Punk'd?
