Nerve mounts a tribute to photographer Helmut Newton, who died last weekend in Los Angeles. Some Brooklyn photographer who calls himself "Siege" testifies about discovering Newton's photographs: "Fucking weird rich people! I loved it! It wasn't just me and the girls in the trailer park that were kinky freaks. Rich people were just as bad - maybe worse!" (According to another piece on Nerve, Siege is "a young Brooklyn photographer who goes a few steps further than taking beautiful pictures of hot girls: he captures them fooling around with each other, then fucks them." Oh yeah: suffer for that art, dude.)
