Over at the Black Table today, there's a man-on-man catfight posing as an interview. Full-time bastard interviewer AJ Daulerio at the Black Table finally found himself out-snarked by former Newsweeker (and fellow bastard) Seth Mnookin:

BT: Would you rather have three-way sex with Robert Christgau and Chuck Klosterman or kill three kittens?

SM: I'm a big fan of both Xgau and Klosterman. I'd rather read both of their collected works than need to answer your inane questions. That's a no-brainer, actually.

BT: Fine. Overall, sum this up for me: Does media need better journalists, better editors, or better readers?

SM: Better interviewers.

I know I'm not the only one thinking this interview might as well have been conducted with the boys slathered in olive oil, Greco-Roman style, right? I'm pretty sure Mnookin's on top.
