Former Lemonhead Evan Dando had a very Loveish (Lovesque? Lovelike? Loverly?) night on stage downtown last night. Our Nightlife Turns Violent Correspondent writes:

Hasn't anyone narced on Evan Dando's offstage punch-up DURING the MC5 concert he was fronting at Bowery Ballroom last night? The fracas took place stage right between Dando and an audience member, and had to be broken up by security. He was supposed to be singing for the reunited MC5 last night (interesting choice to replace deceased belter Rob Tyner), and got through several songs before the fight. He was also pelted with water and water bottles. Audiences have apparently been heckling the 90s coverboy at all the MC5 reunion concerts.
