i saw ethan, uma and the kiddies last night at blue smoke (of all places), sitting at an outdoor table acting very normal. ethan had on that tired old "new jersey: only the strong survive" tshirt from urban outfitters, tucked into his jeans, and was wearing a trucker hat and (i think) boots. looking rather hipster-grungy and also rather short. at one point he took their son inside (i think to the bathroom). uma had on an aqua-colored floaty shirt, hair up, kind of messy. was chatting and playing with their daughter. they all seemed surprisingly normal.
