Laurel Touby Gets Dissed On Happy Hour

MediaBistro's former editor Jesse Oxfeld has finally collected his belongings and officially fled the Soho offices for his new gig and Editor & Publisher. As offices often do, the MediaBistro staff threw a little going-away party for their departing editor — and guess who wasn't invited? MediaBistro founder Laurel Touby. When she got word of her exclusion from the invite list, she sent an email to the entire staff insisting they not attend the festivities, lest they be strangled by her feather boa.

The exclusive email featuring Laurel's Wrath after the jump.

Please join me in sending off my dear departing editor on his last, alcohol-soaked day at mediabistro.

Drinks @ The Magician
Date: Friday, September 17
Time: 6:30 pm

The Magician is on Rivington, at the corner of Rivington & Essex. I'm too lazy to look up the address for anyone who hasn't been there, but it's on the north side of the street. See you there!
