"We're sold out all over the country," the Radarrific Maer Roshan told WWD this week. "You're expecting New York and L.A., but Tampa?"
Yesterday we proved that the mag in fact is not sold out in New York, and we also had suggestions it's not sold out in L.A. But, without any evidence to the contrary, we were willing to accept that Tampa had, indeed, sold out. ("You're huge in Tampa," we confess, is an affirmation we've always dreamed of hearing.)
Then this email arrived:
As perhaps the only Gawker reader in Tampa (don't ask), I am happy to tell you that I found a ton of copies of Radar in the 2 B&Ns on North Dale Mabry Highway. No one reading this will know what street I'm referring to, but believe me, it's hot shit in Florida. I hope this redeems Tampa in your eyes just a tiny, tiny bit.
In this story, honey, Tampa isn't the one needing redemption.
