Speaking of media-HQ cleanups, an anonymous Daily Newsman reports on the facelift potential Gawker Hottie Mort Zuckerman has ordered for his tabloid's HQ:

We tossed out several tons of unwanted press kits yesterday, as they're repainting the interior of the Daily News newsroom and replacing lighting. Everyone is really high on the fumes today and trying to adjust to the new hospital-style glow from overhead.

Next up is all-new carpeting. This is pretty big time; we are not messing around over here.
