The man in that picture is named Jeremy Parker. He is 25 years old. He calls himself "Tha Pumpsta." He says "ironic" things like, "I'm trying to kill the whiteness inside." Why, yes, he does live in Williamsburg. How'd you know that?
He's the focus of a Washington Post story about white DJs in Brooklyn who parody hip-hop at all-white clubs. The Post tries to make this into a serious story; what does this mean? The rest of us think there's nothing wrong with Jeremy Parker that a polo mallet wouldn't cure.
