A strangely overenthusiastic reader writes in with a lengthy report from last night's New York Liberty game, reporting on celebs in attendance (and unveiling the team's new-to-us nickname, the Libs). The dedicated fan, however, seems to have messed an essential part of the WNBA.

Also courtside, under the basket closest to the Libs bench, Martina Navratilova (who got a standing "o") with a very tan, very blond man. ... And courtside behind the Libs bench in her accustomed seat, Joan Jett, wearing a "Daredevil Tattoo NYC" skimpy shirt & fatigues. Between JJ and Martina, we were only one dykon away from a trifecta.

Oh, honey, it's the WNBA. You didn't just have a trifecta; you had a superfecta. And a quadrella. And the entire cast of The L-Word.
