According to People, among Lindsay Lohan's New Year's resolutions is a pledge to make 2006 every bit as chock-full of tabloid-friendly action and dubious, publicist-scripted excuses for abrupt hospitalizations as her record-setting 2005:
Lindsay Lohan was admitted to a Miami hospital Monday night after suffering a severe asthma attack and is now "resting comfortably," a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE.
The Mean Girls star celebrated New Year's Eve in Miami, hosting a party at Prive Nightclub.
It seems that this year, Lohan's flacks have decided to go with an alphabetical progression of reasons why a starlet might reasonably be checked into a hospital and spared themselves some stress. In the coming winter months, we can look forward to Cedars Sinai stays for "bronchitis," "cholera," and "diptheria." (They can't be bothered to look these things up.) And if her handlers manage to hold off using "leukemia" until July or so, they can consider their crisis management campaign an unqualified success.
