From "Page Sixer Probed," New York Post, today:

The Post's editor-in-chief, Col Allan, issued a statement: "Jared Paul Stern is a freelance reporter who sometimes worked two days a week at the New York Post. He has been suspended pending the outcome of the federal investigation."

From "Page Six to Deep Sixed," by Lloyd Grove," Daily News, June 23, 2004:

"Ian Spiegelman was a freelancer who worked two days on average per week for the New York Post," [Post spokesman Howard] Rubenstein said. "He is no longer employed in any role or capacity for the Post."
