Things may look bleak in the field of sports journalism, but it isn't all bad for black folks trying to break into the media game. Look across the pond, where, after a mere 43 years, Dr. Who, universal hero to sci-fi nerds everywhere, has taken a black assistant. Freema Agyeman will play the role of Adeola, "Dr. Who" producers apparently deciding that a black person could be at least as competent as a robotic dog. You know, it's stuff like this that make us feel a little more confident about the state of race relations in the world. Everything's okay now!
