What does it mean for Technorati? The company has a strong engineering team, which made Technorati the most precise and comprehensive blog search engine — better than Google's or Yahoo's blog searches.
But this year, many long-time employees have bailed — marketing director Richard Ault, community manager Niall Kennedy, engineer Jason DeFillippo and star designer Derek Powazek. Is Technorati losing the team that made it great? Is that why it's acting desperate for a buyer?
