Is life truly worth living without some sort of press release from self-promoting publicist Ronn [sic] Torossian? We think not! Thankfully this Monday has been brightened by an email sent the adorably aggressive PR man, who seems to have taken on a pro bono client: himself (only the neediest cases, right?).

NEW YORK, NY August 7, 2006 - Advertising Age, one of the leading marketing and advertising publications in the U.S. announced today their "40 under Forty" list. Ronn Torossian, President & CEO of 5W Public Relations appeared on the list.

The publication cited: "a group of young dynamos who are making their mark now, and are destined to dominate the marketing scene for years."

Highlights from the AdAge piece include: "5W Public Relations President-CEO Ronn Torossian makes it quite clear that he has little use for the rest of the PR business. The 31-year-old describes his big agency competitors as "brain-dead" and "antiquated." "Ronn is a rare combination of a conceptualizer and a doer" says Raphael Benaroya, chairman and president-CEO of United Retail Group, which includes the Avenue women's apparel chain. "He's smart and he's tireless. He moves with an almost military intensity."

"As a PR Agency being selected to an Advertising Industry list shows the shift in how CMO's are thinking about their PR agencies," said Ronn Torossian, President & CEO of 5W. "With the fractioning of mainstream media, the PR industry is making up a larger role in how brands are seen by consumers, gaining them powerful visibility at a time when they can no longer be reliant on media buys. Our aggressive attitude in terms of putting our clients front and center in the press is why we will be the fastest growing PR firm in the U.S. yet again in 2006 marking the 3rd year that we'll receive this honor."
