Earlier today, we slapped up a handful of blind items from Page Six and Gatecrasher: a news anchor whose sexual harassment problems have come at quite the expense; a movie "stud" spied in Venice enjoying a gay tryst; a Latina actress who won't shut up about her wonderful boyfriend, even though she cheated on him; and a magazine executive who prefers Chinese "food" to his own wife.
We've tallied the results; completely innocent speculation after the jump.
THE NEWS ANCHOR WITH THE BAD TOUCH
You said: Just about every man to ever anchor a show, really. Most plausible guesses included falafel lover Bill O'Reilly, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, Chuck Roberts and, with a collective "ew," Charlie Gibson. One of you pointed out that CBS has recently started an employee sexual harassment program, though we can't prove that one (feel free to fill us in, though).
THE CLOSETED ACTOR WITH THE MAN IN ITALY
You said: If it's an actor and he's secretly gay, you guys automatically turn to Matthew McConaughey, who was by far the most popular guess. Coming in a close second by association was Jake Gyllenhaal, but we're not buying that one. As always, Vin Diesel was a popular guess (is it just us, or does his fame seems relegated to blind item closet cases?). Our favorite, however, was the lone wolf who suggested that the stud in question is George Clooney. He does spend a lot of time at his Italian villa, doesn't he?
THE LATINA ACTRESS WHO CHEATS ON HER "BELOVED" BOYFRIEND
You said: Eva Longoria, obviously. The way she gushes about her love for Tony Parker merits a gag order.
THE MAGAZINE EXEC WHO EATS CHINESE INSTEAD OF HIS WIFE
You said: Not a lot of guesses: Jason Binn, Steve Florio. But there was one guess that really hit us in our soft, tickly spot: Conde Nast CEO Chuck Townsend, who allegedly has a special bond with Conde advertising VP Primalia Chang. If you can prove to us that you sent Chinese food to Chuck at 4 Times Square, we'll buy you a bottle of something nice (like rosé!).
