Simon & Schuster Enforces Honor Rider on Publishing Contract

I would like to — I am launching my book on the 25th, and I am honor-bound to Simon & Schuster not to comment on the book before that day.
Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf, dodging a question on his book's supposed allegation that former deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage threatened that Pakistan would be bombed "back to the Stone Age" if Musharraf didn't cooperate with post-9/11 terrorist-hunting. Simon & Schuster contractually threatened Pakistan with only a Bronze Age level of bombing if Musharraf commented on juicy pre-publication details, but the honor provision has all kinds of nasty default penalties.
