Page Six today does a little bit of promotional work for Tristan Taormino, the Village Voice sex columnist and porn artiste who has never before used the fact that she's Thomas Pynchon's niece to help advance her career. Tristan is sad that her uncle refuses to acknowledge her artfully directed licking and sucking, and the fact that Pynchon hasn't even visited her online sex store lends the item a particularly poignant epilogue: "Taormino, who wistfully remembers when her uncle attended her college graduation, admitted: 'I'm not holding my breath.'"

She is, however, breathing through her nose.
