Brooklyn Judge Wants To Make Sure Kids Learn To Hate Immigrants Before Kindergarten

Meet John Wilson, Brooklyn Criminal Court judge and budding children's book author. As the News reports, the judge's debut book

"Hot House Flowers" warns of "effects of unregulated immigration" in a plot line about beautiful flowers that wither when dandelions sneak into their greenhouse."It's intended to describe defense of home and defense of country, and the reasons for that defense," said Wilson, who self-published the book, listed on Amazon.com at $15.99.The story tells of jealous weeds that hog all the water and soil in the greenhouse. The other flowers suffer, but don't do anything until it's almost too late - because they don't want to appear intolerant.
Wilson claims he's not making any political statements, merely that "he was inspired to write because he couldn't find any books for his 4-year-old son that talked about big issues in a way a child could understand." (And it's true; we've spent months looking for a children's book that adequately explains free trade to all the CAFTA-obsessed four-year-olds in our life, to no avail.) In any event, we took a quick look at the book over at Amazon, and if the cover (reprinted after the jump) is any indication, the judge is completely aboveboard on this. We look forward to his next one, Oh, The Places You'll Go (Because Our Government Is Too Weak To Legally Enforce Border Restrictions.)
