Living the life of a socialite can be rather taxing—so many benefits, so many designer dresses to keep track of, so many manicures, etc.—that we can't say we were surprised to see this ad for a personal assistant for an "UWS socialite." She's looking for
an experienced, loyal, and trustworthy individual to act as her Personal Assistant. The candidate will work in a small office near her home on Central Park West which is a VERY casual, but busy work environment! This is a position for a career Personal Assistant who is comfortable working autonomously. The rest of the ad, and our musings over who this could be, after the jump.
Responsibilities include but are not exclusive to: - Heavy scheduling - Creating personal travel itineraries - Planning parties - Gift purchasing - Running errands - Coordination of nanny, chef, driver, etc. - Ad-hoc projects as requestedOf course, this job pales in comparison to the totally outsourced hedge fund manager (and pays better), but that doesn't help us figure out whose job ad it is. So? Who is it? All the socialites we can think of live on the Upper East Side. If you know who this might be, do let us know.
- Prior Personal Assistant experience is a must
- Strong references
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
Salary: 70K + bonus
NO BENEFITS (they can help you to coordinate, but will not reimburse)
