TODO is one daily thing recommended for you, by us.
All right, listen up. We're feeling cranky today, so really, there's no need for emails of the "Seize Sur Vingt has been around forever, we can't believe you're just writing about it NOW" or "What is this, Daily Candy?" or "This feature should die" variety. Really, we've heard it all before, and it's tiresome.
That said, we're miring ourselves out of our crankiness to offer a completely sincere plug for Seize Sur Vingt's off-the-rack shirts. Yes, you can get shirts custom-made there, but we're too impatient to wait around for 4 to 6 weeks while little elves construct our garments from spun gold, or whatever they put in them. Also, what if we were to get fat whilst our shirts were being made? That would be annoying, and expensive. No, we like to saunter in to their shop on Elizabeth Street and choose one of the shirts they have ready to go. (You can also buy them online, but that seems less fun.)
At first, we found the cost rather prohibitive—why would we pay $150 for a shirt when you can get a perfectly decent shirt for, like, one-third the price? Then we actually got one, and we were hooked. Something about the cut, and the fabric, and the pattern combined to make the shirt simply perfect. We've since bought two more, on a strict only-one-shirt-every-two-months pattern, so as to not seem profligate and/or strangely addicted. Even though we are.
