    'Radar': We Know We Screwed You Twice Before, But This Time It'll Be Different

    As copies of Radar 3.0, Issue One, start to trickle out, we're getting more and more e-mails like the following:

    Question: If you subscribed to RADAR a few years back and got two magazines before they go belly-up, when they start publishing again a couple of years later, do they

    (1) Give you a free one-year subscription, since Ron Burkle's billions back the thing and they intend to respect their prior relationship with you;

    (2) Honor your original subscription by giving you however many copies were left remaining therein; or

    (3) Send you a SINGLE copy of the magazine, with an offer to "RENEW" your subscription (a "limited time charter renewal offer," which makes it sound like you get past the bouncer at Burkle's model club, too) as a way of "thanking you."

    As so many former subscribers have already informed us the answer is, of course, 3. But we're sure they're using the money they saved to take care of any freelancers who still haven't been paid for the prior iterations.
