Mark Pincus, the twitchy serial entrepreneur, has an impressive resume. An MBA from Harvard Business School. Summa Cum Laude from Wharton. And, before founding internet companies such as Support.com and Tribe, Pincus "worked in business consulting at Bain & Co. and investment banking at Lazard Freres & Co." The bio leaves out one important detail, however. The Valley maven's position at Bain was that of summer associate, and he was never invited back; in fact he may have been the only person ever to have been fired from a summer job at the management consultants. Now that's impressive. Anyone have the details?
