An independent director doesn't usually take the chief exec job unless his predecessor blew up. So we suspect there's more to Stratton Sclavos' resignation as boss of Verisign, the weird conglomerate which provides domain names and other, more obscure services. Verisign said only that it was time for "new leadership." Anyone know the real story? (Bonus points if the explanation has something to do with "Boobie".)
