Google gets into your TV

The beast of Mountain View isn't content with dominating search and online advertising. To corner another part of your world, heretofore mostly Google-free, it has partnered with Matsushita, the folks who make Panasonic electronics, to create a Google TV. These flat-panel screens with built-in Internet access will link living-room viewers to YouTube videos or Picasa photo galleries. Low-resolution video and amateur photos — just what we all wanted to watch!
