I heard they did a 20 years later Where Are They Now documentary. They tracked down the "star" (the guy who's on the cover) and he had no idea that he was in Heavy Metal Parking Lot or even what was Heavy Metal Parking Lot.

@mitchel_stevens: There are more fitting places to dislike. I currently live in CA which sucks so much more than DC or MD, and thinks it is super-awesome. And there is always New Jersey or WV.

I thought this was already out on a Krulik compilation DVD? Maybe it was VHS, I can't remember...anyway, Krulik did a "Harry Potter Parking Lot" in DC a few years ago, which was kind of cute and not too self-referential.

Just one parking lot, the parking lot at the Cap Center, and I was there. I WAS THERE. And I was there the previous year for the Defenders of the Faith Tour also. The Metallian, baby! Rob Halford on a Harley riding through the mouth of the Metallian spewing fire and cum, doing an encore of "Hellbent for Leather" and "Jawbreaker." Was anyone else there? Does anyone else remember the burnouts on the floor of the show carrying the giant banner that read, "There's No Priest like the Old Prist [sic]", in six-foot high letters? Classic. I got high with a ten-year-old that day in the line to get in. (He passed it to me, in the crowd ahead of us, and what was I going to say, No?) Good times!
