Ha ha, your medium is dying! Financial-news print outlets seeking relevance have added video to their web sites. But their work is pretty much the opposite of YouTube gold. Brett Erlich, apparently just this guy who loves web videos, makes fun of the work of the Journal, Forbes, and Fortune on this criminally underwatched Current TV segment.

Ken Fisher is the stuff of nightmares.
Uh... excellent. Erlich seems sorta drunk too, which made me feel right at home.
The 24 hour news cycle leads to some pretty weird wastelands of wee hour programming, and Current TV is the closest I'll get to my dream of watching Eastern Bloc public television (bland, yet earnest) on a descrambled signal. This, however, is pretty cute.
John Krasinski is BRILLIANT! I have such the man-crush on him.
I know some of the people he makes fun of. Ergo, I enjoyed that more than I can ever tell you.
Current TV. We found you.
Finance people DO laugh for no reason! They knew about the sinking global economy a lot earlier than we did, I guess. HA HA!
@In Other News...: I was just about to post that this guy looks like the lead on a sitcom that would be quickly canceled. John Krasinki's head plus Evan Handler's stupid voice.
@Max Silvestri: no, worse Max... i look like a guy who wouldn't even get an audition for a sitcom. and if i did it would only be because they thought i was john krazinski.
here's a version that hasn't been taken down by the network.
