A NYU student from LI did something laudable?!?!
The entire NY centered blogosphere just imploded.
Since when do they sell installation art in shopping malls? Surely nothing comes from Long Island that you can't get at GAP store #5683-A.
NY centered blogosphere order restored.
If this kind of thing keeps up, people may have to stop using "art student" as a term of derision.
I don't care if she is a student at the Dayton, Ohio, School of Foreign Accents, that art piece is the coolest thing I have ever seen on Gawker.
I didn't know there were any NYU students from Long Island. The place must be broadening its appeal.
We hope she got an A!
I hope she realizes how awesome she already is and drops out of college.
@yogagrrrl: Here, here! Kelly, do yo’ thing.
@famousauthor: Oh yikes, are you kidding? It's a transplant of LI. And Jersey, for that matter. I've been drowning in awful accents for the last 4 years.
@caseyliz: If you don't like it, you can always move to Boston...
