The zombie onslaught of MTV's reality slop show The Hills is apparently unstoppable. It will be trundling on for a fourth season, a 19-episode run, detailing how they spent their summer vacations (as opposed to their winter, spring, and fall vacations), that will start in August. That leaves us just a short four month reprieve from the gurgling gaggle of gregarious girls. Don't let them bite you. [Us]

I hate how I have to work everyday and participate in society.
I think more happened in last night's episode of Gossip Girl than will ever happen in these 19 episodes.
don't you have to be in school to get summer vacations? I know some of them are still trapped in high school but one would think at this point, they would all have summer school...
oh thank god

@EleanorRigby: 19 is too much. 10 is just right.
while gossip girl was absolutely wonderful last night, the previous nine episodes have been kind of blah. how long do you think schwartz & co. can keep it up?
Most shows turn to crap in their second season.
@contradicto:I just pretend my boring life is actually being taped for a scripted reality show. It punches things up a bit.
I thought the "What I Did On My Summer Vacation" was an essay assignment that was given to 4th graders. When did this turn into a reality show theme?
"You must destroy the brain or remove the head..."
At the expense of being seen as a literate person...don't you mean a fifth season, Richard? I thought next week's episode marked the end of season four?
I wish zombies were real.
Richard?

@Colonel Mustard: apperantly, like satc's 6th season, the hills season 3 was in two parts.
excuse while I go hang myself.
@SneakingThroughTheAlleyWithLalley: They are.
@La Cieca: HAH.
@contradicto: @SneakingThroughTheAlleyWithLalley: I concur, and do you have any extra rope?
Aren't they past the point where they get the entire summer off? They are "adults" yes?
@dummyfakeroller: I mean they're 21 right? So, college age, even if they're not, you know, "in college".
