Everyone in the fashion, TV, magazine, footwear, apparel, movie, and vodka industries is salivating over the various self-promotional opportunities that come with the release of Sex and the City, the movie. (May 30th; we'll be there tottering on heels, sloshed on Cosmotinis!) Today's casualty: "With the debut of summer's most anticipated movie, don't be a 'Fashion Roadkill!' Everybody is talking about replicating the looks of our New York socialistas. The fabulous four, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha are back... But what about the fabulous look of Mr. Big."

Though I am not one to make fun of SJP'S looks THAT often, I must point out that she looks just a LITTLE bit like she just got off the shortbus after a field trip to Deb at Searstown Mall in Leominster, MA in that picture.
I dunno, a complete set of American Tourister luggage? Pack your bags, everybody!
It looks like she thought the camera was sitting at the very edge of her nose.
That being said, I agree, I don't think she usually looks that bad.
Why is the movie launching in London before New York?
Mr. Big makes my heart stop -- oddly, his voice even more than his face. I saw him once on the street and he looked me in the eye. I couldn't breathe for a bit and nearly needed to be taken to St. Luke's, though I'd have preferred some mouth-to-mouth from Mr. Noth.
Mr Big flirted with me once. I'm sort of very meh about celebs, BUT....He. Was.Hot. A bit chubby and he even had some gray streaks in his hair. Still. Hot.
I've always felt that should I run into Mr. Noth there would be a slight chance of catching his lecherous fancy, as the current GF/baby mama is just kind of unremarkable. I agree that the voice is incredibly sexy.
Looks like sCarrie shops at The Golden Girls Rejects store. When did those 80's style shoulder pads come back into style?
I like the use of scare quotes and capitalization on 'Fashion Roadkill' - as if it were a really popular phrase.
Wait - is it?
@valet_of_the_dolls: It's a punchline from the series, making it an actual quotation (yes, I knew that off the top of my head, which you now have my permission to shoot off at point-blank range).
@BeRightBack: Servicey! "The more you know..."
