Spektor Settles in Murray Hill
  • Russian-born songstress Regina Spektor is moving to Murray Hill: She paid $1.125 million for a 19th-floor condo at 155 East 34th Street. The 1,140-square-foot condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and views of the Chrysler and Met Life buildings.
  • Jacob Safra—the 32-year-old son of banking billionaire Moise Safra—just closed on a 15th floor apartment at 800 Park Avenue for $11 million. The full-floor residence features three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, and three maids rooms.
  • Another day, another sale at 15 Central Park West. This time the buyer is Jonathan Sokoloff, the managing partner at Leonard Green & Partners, a private equity firm in L.A. and Rite Aid board member. Sokoloff is paying $12.25 million for apartment 28A.
  • Heather Mills, England's least favorite person (and the world's least sympathetic amputee) is coming to the States. She's rumored to have already gone into contract on a condo at 173 Perry Street for $5 million.
