Transcribe quickly, for FUN. This reminds me of that Japanese videogame where you drive a cab. Still, it's addictive. [TypeRacer via Cabel]

12 wpm.
Awww - it's like Facebook, but with little cars!
@belltolls: I got to 70 wpm (I'm a touch-driver) but my hand skidded off the keyboard and took out three pedestrians.
Got up to 95 wpm. Burn dust! Eat my rubber!
Megaracer in the house (83 wpm) and it's freakin' late where I am!
Sadder still? my work computer is probably way too slow to play said game.
@PaisleyPajamas: I thought everyone was a Megaracer. I looked at the stats for everyone else, and they all were.
@LeGagneur: *pwwweeert* There goes all the air outta my balloon. *frowns*
@PaisleyPajamas: I strike again!
Wow. Mavis Beacon had it comin', eh?
I got lost on my way to the finish line. We were supposed to write about Julia Allison, right?
@Colonel Mustard: OMG, ingenious mashup idea!
Can I win a virtual 5 cent toy now? And where's the carnie folk?
@Ryan Tate: No, that's Typing Trainwreck. Totally different game.
@DorothyMantooth: Does she actually exist? Probably drives a Smith-Corona.
70 WPM!
I would like to tell the creators of this game that I enjoyed it? But I don't like the way the words are displayed and I don't really like the typing window either. Lots of distractions that made it hard for me to be awesome. Also, it's obvs annoying that you have to correct your mistakes as you go. That's what assistants are for!
@VirusWithShoes: Well, to be fair Scottie, when I played I was against some really good cabs, I was drinking a Starbucks, smoking, making a G&T and screwing all that the same time! I am sure that slowed me down some.
My girlfriend is a stenographer and would kick everyone's butt at this game. I must send her the link!
[www.introversion.co.uk] is way more fun. nothing like playing a game of global thermonuclear war to pass those slow days.
