Ryan Adams Flaked Or Tumblr Hacked?

The picture above is what you see if you try to go to shaggy-haired singer Ryan Adams' Tumblr. It was like that pretty much all last night. Adams is non-commital about blogging, so this could be him. But also Tumblr kind of sucks at security lately, so maybe this isn't Adams' fault at all. I mean, the word "hijack" is involved, after all. But given that no one has emailed us about Adams' latest outage, maybe he doesn't have any readers left. Except Sheila, of course!

He wasn't on the affected servers of the last hack. That only targeted the cool kids.

I say his hair finally just gave up and left him and he's too mortified to post pix and too narcissistic to blog without obsessive self-portraiture. He and Tumblr were made for one another.

speaking of hijacking, the media coronation of rev wright is a totaly hijacking of the democratic primary

he isn't running for president. obama is.

wright is a minor figure being given more media oxygen then he ever could have dreamed of

it is a completely manufactured controversy

fairness would require the 24/7 attention of the news cycle focused on the white lunatic rightwing hatemonger preachers courted by mccain, at suburban super churches across the country

get their quotes, get mccain to confirm or deny that he believes every word they say when they preach about how they hate gays and how women are subservient and on and on and on ... how katrina was what new orleans deserved and so on

until all that is hung around mccain's neck, the wright controversy will be completely onesided and false

not gonna happen?

it was taken over by someone two days ago. the person wrote that they did it just to see if they could - not to bash or say anything in particular. That lasted for about a day (I could read all the posts as I have a tumblr account and was following dradamsfilms.com... so even though it didn't show up if you typed in that link, the posts showed in my Tumblr dashboard), and it has since stopped. No word as to whether or not ryan will continue or start up his blog again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he (Ryan) will return, as I love and look forward to posts, as I know many other fans do too.
