Madge and A-Rod's Late Nights
  • Reps for Madonna and Alex Rodriguez claim the two are "just friends." They just happen to be the kind of friends who have secret rendezvouses at their apartments until midnight. The day after having a baby. [NYP]
  • The wait is over, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook's divorce trial starts today. All the juiciest witnesses, like Peter's paramours Diana Bianchi and fitness model Carri Lyn Ciammarra, are set to testify first, leaving plenty for people to gossip about in Hamptons over the long weekend. [NYDN]
  • It's been 18+ hours since Angelina Jolie checked into the hospital in Nice, and still no babies. Don't worry though, because as soon as she delivers, her French doctor says he'll come out and give a statement to the press. Also, the room she might be staying in has pink blankets and views of the Mediterranean sea, in case you were wondering. [E!]
  • Anne Hathaway's parents apparently knew better. They never cared for Raffaello Follieri and had been pressuring their daughter to dump the Italian for months before his arrest. • More Lohan drama, a groveling phone message Michael left Lindsay, where he apologizes for speaking about her to the press and promises never to do it again, somehow found its way online. [Gawker]
  • Finally, Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen might be doing a song together for Lily's new album. [OK!]
  • Now that she's out of the hospital, Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch is serving as a guard for his daughter, staking out the front of her house so she can't leave at night. Apparently he's not a very good one though, because she snuck out last night and went to a pub with friends before Mitch caught on a few hours later and brought her home. [This Is London]
  • Pharrell Williams wants the tattoos on his arms removed, but he's too cool to have them lasered off; he's apparently having a medical center grow flaps of skin that will later be grafted on his arms (which he'll inevitably cover up again with new tats). [NYDN]
  • Sleazy Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis is back in court. The latest: Steve Wynn's casino is suing him over $2 million in gambling debts. [NYDN]

  • Mark Ronson has finally entered the fued between Diddy and Jay-Z over who discovered him. Unfortunately, he's disagreeing with both sides (and being a good mama's boy) and giving credit to Ann Dexter-Jones. [Starpulse]
  • Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk and his wife Lhotse had a baby girl on Monday. [OK!]
