So here's the new high definition trailer for The Dark Knight. There were a couple of crappy bootleg versions on YouTube for a few hours last week until Warner Bros. pitched a fit. Video after the jump.

Bruce Wayne, meet Bruce Willis. Bang, crash, boom, kablooey! Love it.
Eh, from the trailer I saw at Iron Man, It looks kinda crappy. The whole Chelsea smile thing is kind of disturbing to look at for any period of time.
I want to see it now. Twice.
Hmmmmm.Innneresting but still not gonna part with the 'ol cash for anything other than sequel with the X in the title.
is there anything gayer than the original robin
in a good way i mean
Oh, Bateman and a creepy dead Joker, and Michael Caine, and shit blowing up. Might have to see it.
@belltolls: I would see anything with Bateman in it. You meant Jason, right?
That was one of the few things I've seen that justified HD.
It was clearer and sharper than my own life.
@if_i_only_had_a_heart: There seriously isn't. Total gaydar meltdown.
Christian Bale minus Katie Holmes this time around? Sign me up.
@Koreanish: Yup, I know that feelin'.
Nestor Carbonell is in it! I wonder if they'll make a Batmanuel joke. Probably not.
I can tell this movie will be good, because it's finally making me like Maggie Gyllenhal.
Waaaaiiiit a minute! Michael Keaton isn't in this one? Count me out.
@afraidofauntieem: American Psycho character Patrick Bateman played by Bale in that film.
I am very excited.
@Priam: should NOT have Googled that... urgh...
@Tea Em Gee Eff: ??
@Priam: chelsea smile. Urgh
At least I now know to not go see the movie. I have a weak stomach for torture and the such.
@Tea Em Gee Eff: Ahh. Yeah. Iron Man was frigging great though. And not depressing like the new Batman series.
@Priam: Most anything with RDJ is a must-see for me, but it's good to know that I don't have to pull out the hip-waders for Iron Man just to be able to drool all over my troubled, sexy boy.
Oh man... I first saw this trailer version the other night at Iron Man, that's the way to preview a move like this. Something's changing about the superhero movies recently... they're pretty rockin'.
This one really doesn't look so different from the last one, or any of the others. I was expecting something deeper, along the lines of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
@Tea Em Gee Eff: What's so wrong with this?

Oooooooooooo - Christian Bale is yummmmmy!
@LeGagneur: Chelsea chocolate smiles are another thing entirely. :)
I'm not gay, but I would make an exception for Christian Bale.
@TedSez: I would love it if they made Dark Knight Returns, with someone like Clint Eastwood or Harrison Ford playing the Dark Knight. They could even do it green screen ala 300 if they insist.
@Runeshai: Iron Man was pretty good, but there was some stuff in there that was too ridiculous. But it must have been good, because I didn't care. Kind of like Maggie Gyllenhal being around.
Aintitcoolnews tore this trailer a new one in the talkbacking - I personally can't wait for this, but since Ledger died, I've been kind of wanting to avoid it though.
I was disappointed to hear that there will be no cover of "Batdance" nor any appearance by Prince and the New Power Generation in this Joker-featuring Batman.
@TheManator: People still read AintItCool? I gave up when they raved all over Daredevil.
Wishful spoiler alert: The movie is crammed with dialogue between Batman and the Joker like "You won't be around for long, Joker!" and "What's the matter, Joker? You seem a little sad," and "Joker? Joker! Quick, get an ambulance, the Joker won't wake up!"
the one for iron man is pretty funny, too: [www.236.com]
I'm going to be abroad when this comes out. WHY must I expand my horizons? God damn you college for making me idealistic!
@AmericanSplendor: I know what you mean. I missed all of Twin Peaks during my junior year abroad. And most of the Gulf War, too.
