"Please, not in the face Tony."
Christians don't eat gabbagoo.
This was funnier the first time, when it was the "Pallies" sketch from Mr. Show.
Mad TV sucks.
@SarahHeartburn: Most Catholic Italians would probably classify themselves as Christian... I know my aunt the Italian nun would... and she will bring the gabagoul & a mean case of the Holy Spirit too.
PAX TV is now ION TV, the best place to see syndicated reruns of "Baywatch."
MadTV is to In Living Color as Go-Bots is to Transformers.

@shitty pitty:
Do you not get how this works? You find something funnier on YouTube and post it here... Because it's fun.
My homeboy! Ian, will you love me even more if I tell you that I have known Will Sasso since '96?
WE CANDIASSIANS ARE EVERYWHERE!
@ian spiegelman: I was just referencing the show in general. And the clip is funny.
"Even a blind hog finds a nut once and a while."
@Hez: Liar! Why do you Candipliats always have to make stuff up?! Limey-loving liars!
@shitty pitty: I'm just saying it's fun to play.
@ian spiegelman: Fact check! He's from Ladner, BC and we met because I was working at his old talent agency in 1996. We're not BFFs, but he knows who I am. We're Facebook pals too - you can check, Checky Checkerson.
@shitty pitty: yeah but dude - stuart.

@Hez: Get him to come to my birthday party as Kenny Rogers and I might believe you!
@ronaldpagan: It's funny. But I think the Mad TV one is funnier. And TV doesn't have to original.
@the supergoddess: That's my favorite Stuart skit... Coz Susan Sarandon as the Tooth Fairy gets me totally hot for some reason.
Was that the real Big Pussy? Sweet!
I ca't find a clip online anywhere, but does anyone else remember that old The State sketch that was a rewritten-for-television stage drama about the downtrodden working class and included the line, "let's get milk-faced and jump like bunnies"?
@the supergoddess: It's really the characterization of the mother that makes the Stuart sketches work. So funny.
@Trixie from Toronto: Yeah, it's a big step up from the pasta commercials he was doing shortly after he left the show.
@ian spiegelman: Yeah, the Mad TV sketch was funny, but I thought Mr. Show needed some representation. "Watch your mother father mouth!"
@VoxPopuli: I only saw the last season and have been working my way through from the beginning... In my world, Pussy's still alive and Tony's wife just killed her fiance. Well, that's on A&E. On HBO Jackie Jr. just got killed.
@ronaldpagan: I know Mad TV's not as classic as NewsRadio, but I'm gonna run out of shows to do this with pretty soon!
This was surprisingly good. The plot line really could have been (maybe it was one I don't remember?) an actual Soprano's episode. I was laughing the whole time and that doesn't happen much with sketch shows anymore.
In honor of the new Sex and the City movie, I present:

There's still Larry Sanders, Spiegelman.
@rosaluxembourgeoise: Shit! that's what I forgot!... But I'm still gonna run out soon... I think I have to make this feature more random if it is to survive.
Its spelled 'Cappacolia'
@rosaluxembourgeoise:
If there was an award for commenter names, you should win it, with honorable mentions going to TotalEclipseoftheSartre and BillyPilgrimIsNotMyLover.
BACK when MadTV was GOOD! Like before 2005!!! Sorry - every since Season 3 though it has been going down hill. I miss Phil LaMarr, Will Sasso, Nicole Sullivan, Mo Collins, Dave Herman and Artie Lange. Seriously.
@ronaldpagan:
Tell your friends.
@ian spiegelman:
I forgot to mention how ****ing amazing this clip was, you ****ing **** of a running-dog ***, ****ing commodity fetishist ****.
You made my day and made me ****ing hungry, you ****.
@ian spiegelman: And @rosaluxembourgeoise: "Have you seen the size of the hog on Hank?"
@Trixie from Toronto:
Oh, yessss. Please!
@Buzz Killington: Actually, it's spelled "cappicola." In Calabrese, you say "CappaCOLE" and in Sicilian, you say "Gabbagool."
A side note: To say "eggplant" in Italian, you say "Melanzana." It's shortened to "Melanzane." In Calabrese, you say, "Melan-ZHAN." In Sicilian, it's "MOLENYAN."
I believe I've successfully established that Sicilian is, in fact, fake Italian.
@CopyofBlueboy: Or that Siciliy is the Staten Island of Italy.
@rosaluxembourgeoise: Ha!
@CopyofBlueboy: Half my family is Sicilian you m*therf*ckin'...

@Rushmore Beekeeper: That's right! Thank you! I don't live with the roommate who had the VHS any longer, so I couldn't check to remember. And their clips are very difficult to find!

@rosaluxembourgeoise: My favourite episode of my favourite TV series ever. Oh Spiegelman -- work your naughty magic next weekend!
@CopyofBlueboy: Easy there. Sicilians are a superior race.
@Trixie from Toronto: I will keep trying so long as you guys keep showing up!

I'm waiting for the PAX version of DEADWOOD. You have enact SAP to find out what anyone is saying.
I'm gutted, I missed the cartoons, the sharks, The Sopranos (just finished watching Series 5) and I will cry if anyone goes discussing Deadwood without me.
