Viacom is—as one might expect—the fiercest US defender of its video content on Youtube. The media conglomerate, broadcaster of shows such as Jon Stewart's Daily Show and The Colbert Report, is suing the web video service's owner, Google, for massive copyright infringement; Viacom has had 352 videos taken down for copyright violations, according to MIT's Youtomb project. The Church of Scientology has used Youtube's takedown provisions to stop critics disseminating and mocking its promotional videos, but Tom Cruise's sect is a relatively modest censor—only 48th on our list.

fuck you TV Tokyo and your stealing of my pirated anime! fuck you very much.
If they want me watching the Daily Show on their website, they should make sure it's working more than half the time.
@mitchel_stevens: I think it's the intensely and hypocritically bitchtastic Dattebayo Fansubs (#5)(!) who's the real enemy in that regard. At least it actually is the other Japanese corporations' property.
I posted a video from WebCameron once (The UK Tory leader) and they ripped it down and I got a nasty letter. Then, like a week later, they uploaded it themselves and emailed me to ask me to post it.
Some organizations just do not get it.
Poop on you, WWE. Don't you want people to be able to watch clips of your product when it was good?

If you look at the list, those in the top 50 are either media or broadcasting companies with one notable exception. I don't care how far down the top 50 list it is, why is a church on that list at all?
You're actually wrong, l.Aaron, there are TWO notable exceptions. "Dattebayo Fansubs, LLC" is not a company at all, it's just a group of geeks with a silly hobby who annoyed YouTube into giving them the ability to pull vids. (I should know, I am one of them).
