Yesterday was the big WWDC day where the most un-secret secret was unveiled: The new 3G iPhone shall be unleashed upon those too broke to buy it last year. But will the 3G iPhone fold my laundry? Will the 3G iPhone keep a litter box spring fresh or walk a dog? Will the 3G iPhone hold your hair back after all the WWDC partying you will be doing tonight? I don't think so. SOMA is teeming with events: Thirsty Bear is pulling double duty with parties, hosting both the VMware Fusion user meetup at 6 p.m. and open source nerds at 7:30 with the Webkit Open Source party. Roe Restaurant is having an iSocial at 6 p.m., while Ars Technica & Gizmodo are partying over at Harlot. Looking for an alternate WWDC conference? Launch: Silicon Valley is happening today and OnHollywood 2008 is kicking off in Los Angeles, with no mentions of you-know-what.
