Owen's away, so there's no better time to discover that childlike wonder that he's so effectively killed off in all of us than by attending this weekend's events. The Spore Creature Creator is out and while some of you are creating penis monsters (totally NSFW, btw), Will Wright will be at the Apple store in SF on Saturday talking about decidedly non-phallic Spore creatures. Mark Osborne, the director of Kung Fu Panda, will be on hand for a special Saturday screening of his movie at the Aquarius Theater in Palo Alto. The event will be raising funds for the Red Panda Network and celebrating the launch of Firefox 3. If you're just looking for drinks tonight, Startup Drinks Part II will be at Medjool in the Mish starting at 6 p.m.
