Know those $600 stimulus checks George Bush & Co. sent out to the poors, the underfunded and executive assistants earlier this year in order to rejuvenate the economy? Independent market-research firm AIMRCo says they really got the blood flowing in the Internet porn industry. A spokesperson for porn website LSGmodels said that 32 percent of the site's June signups and renewers did so due to the stimulus package. Says Kirk Mishkin, head research guy:

Many of the sites we surveyed have reported 20-30% growth in membership rates since mid-May when the checks were first sent out, and typically the summer is a slow period for this market.
