Mischa Falters, Madonna Fired, More Mess for Tiger

• There's both good and bad news for Mischa Barton. The bad: She's reportedly drinking again and was seen "knocking back shots and drinking margaritas" earlier this week. (As you may remember, that sort of behavior led Mischa to spend some time in the hospital this past summer.) The good news: She supposedly looked "healthy" and "in control" while doing it, so it should be a few months before she hits bottom again and is forced to make a return trip. [P6]
• Think a good thought for Madonna. Louis Vuitton has decided to drop Madge as the face of the brand and replace her with 25-year-old supermodel Lara Stone. [Sun]
• The last 24 hours of Tiger: Holly Sampson, the porn star who had been suspected of having a tryst with Tiger, confirmed the rumor yesterday; meanwhile, Hollywood madam Michelle Braun says Woods spent $60,000 on hookers between 2006 and 2007, was into the "college cutie, girls-next-door look," and was a fan of three-ways, too. Luckily for Tiger, the reports about his dozen or so mistresses (and all the kinky specifics) may not spell disaster for his marriage to Elin Nordegren. Several tabloids report that Woods has come clean to Elin about "all" of his misbehavior in recent days and she's planning to stay with him.

• Tiger Woods' marriage may ultimately endure—millions of dollars can do that!—but Jenny Sanford's isn't going to. She's divorcing her cheating husband, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. [ABC News]
• Yesterday, Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel vehemently denied the recent report in the New York Post that it was Christie's strained relationship with daughter Alexa Ray that was responsible for her suicide attempt last weekend. So today, the Post went ahead and dug up more info on Christie and Alexa's tortured relationship. It's on, clearly. [P6]
• There's more trouble for the White House state dinner crashers: A jeweler in Virginia says Tareq Salahi tried to pass off his wristwatch as a genuine Patek Philippe, but it's really a knockoff. [NYP]
• Two of the stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak, may not be back for the third season because they're reportedly asking for too much money. Bravo is said to be meeting with "notable and wealthy" Atlanta women to have some backups. [NYDN]
• In other reality TV gossip, the guy who is seen punching "Snooki" on the upcoming episode of MTV's Jersey Shore? He's a New York City public school gym teacher. For the moment, at least. [NYP]
• Did John Mayer try to chat up Kim Kardashian the other day? Maybe! [P6]
• Jessica Simpson and former Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan are officially dating. (Most unlikely coupling of 2009?) They're supposedly "taking it slow" right now, though, just so you know. [People]
• Taylor Swift straightened her hair and got bangs. In case you care. [Us]
• A judge has ruled that Jon Gosselin must stop making media appearances for now because doing so violates his contract with TLC. TLC reps had testified that Jon's behavior was "embarrassing," which seems like a pretty easy case to prove. [Us]
Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, basketball player Hank Baskett had a son. He's named Hank Baskett IV. And naturally the entire thing was caught on camera by E!. [People]
• Angelina Jolie has written an op-ed criticizing President Obama's lack of attention to Darfur. This doesn't really support Us Weekly's recent claim that she "hates" Obama, but clearly she's not his number one fan. [Newsweek]
• In other Brangelina news, they attended a UNICEF fundraiser last night, where Angie had a toothy smile plastered on her face and she got a little touchy-feely with Muhammad Ali. [DM]
• Talk show host Wendy Williams' nine-year-old son found out she had breast implants by watching her shows online. Poor thing. [People]
• The bouncers who were caught on camera beating two patrons at Jay-Z's 40/40 club in Atlantic City have been fired. [NYDN]
• "Elegant" Elliot Offen—the "guy who jogs on 2nd Avenue in women's lingerie" and a Howard Stern show regular—is suing a Miami hotel after the place had him arrested for parading through the lobby in lingerie and a bellboy allegedly hurled "anti-gay slurs" at him .[P6, NYDN]
• Amanda Peet and her screenwriter husband David Benioff are expecting their second kid. [Us]
