It's true. The memo went out today. Work like everyone else, damn it. We all must suffer as one.

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to announce that we will be closing our offices at noon
on the Fridays before Memorial Day and Labor Day-May 22 and September
4-in order to give you a head start to the long weekends. As a
reminder, in lieu of a 2009 Rodale Company Picnic and in celebration
of Independence Day, our offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 and
Monday, July 6.

Additionally, Rodale will not have a formal summer hours program in
2009, so we ask that you continue to follow PTO policies when
requesting time off during the summer months.

I hope you all have an enjoyable summer.
