A little tour through the trademark office shows that be-costumed avant-pop pan-flash of the moment Lady Gaga is making it official. She's made a legal brand of her moniker and may slap it on a whole host of products.
The original trademark registration, which protects her name and secures licensing rights and all that, was processed back in October:
She recently switched trademark attorneys and added a few more items to the bundle, including "plastic vinyl coverings for cellphones":
Will Gaga sell out and actually merchandise all this stuff? Who knows! Do her handlers quietly hope she does? Yes.
