Day dreaming is common. Everyone wishes they could fly or Hulk-smash their desk through a window. Some like to pretend they are medieval fantasy warriors. Even fewer people actually act on these desires. These brave, rare few are called LARPers.
LARPing may be funny to you, but for those involved, it's serious business. It started taking off in the 1970s (using "taking off" very loosely) with the advent of Dungeons and Dragons, and nerds becoming more confident in themselves. Dagorhir was the first LARPing "society" created and boasts almost 1,500 members. If all this LARP talk has gotten you interested check out Dagorhir's battle schedule and join the fun.
