It's finally here. The Chinese nightclub named after our very own president had its soft opening and reviews are starting to come out. There were half-naked people in scary costumes, go-go dancers, and tons of creeps dancing to bad music.
Shanghaiist was there for the first party, and had this to say:
Democratic would be the word to describe the people we saw at this place because everyone was there and we mean everyone. Murse-carrying middle-aged men, chi-chi snobs, break dancers, wide-eyed kebab sellers who looked like they'd just arrived in the city, and a table of decked out ladies who had everyone wondering if they were paid to just sit around and look pretty.
Sounds like another shitty nightclub to me. And by the way, what are "wide-eyed kebab sellers who looked like they'd just arrived in the city?" Is that a new way of saying "fresh off the boat?" Nice touch, guys!
