This week, Miles and Tanya learn that when you work for a company like API, you're occasionally going to be "borrowed" to consult on some of the CIA's less routine operations. Remember, it's not kidnapping if they're paying you.
For those of you just joining us, Rubicon is a show about the American Policy Institute, a fictional New York-based company that amasses intelligence data from all of the sneaky branches of our nation's government and analyzes said data for patterns, links, corroborations, etc.
The plot each week is twofold: there is an ongoing narrative involving some sort of Secret Government Conspiracy that API's Will Travers is slowly unraveling, and then there is a less-serial plot (as depicted here) involving the drama and strangeness of working for such a unique organization.
The jump cut at the end of this clip, in my opinion, sums up one theme of the show nicely: it's all about contrast. Also, who doesn't love seeing an elderly dude rock out?
