British "street artist" Banksy apparently directed the opening titles of Sunday night's Simpsons episode. Like most Banksy art-things, it was "political." But it was also funnier than anything that's been on The Simpsons in a long time.
Admittedly, that's a pretty low bar for the show, which is in its five millionth season and now serves mostly as a platform for celebrities who want to make gentle fun of themselves but find Saturday Night Live too edgy. And, look, we didn't expect much from Banksy, who is a little bit too, you know. You know? (Though his movie was pretty good!) But hey! This is pretty funny. Good job, guys!
