CBS had NASCAR CMO Steve Phelps go undercover for a day! Natch, he was made to look like an idiot, because that's what Undercover Boss is all about: making company officers look like idiots. Watch him change a tire inside.

Actually, Phelps did a pretty damn good job! For someone who's never changed a tire before, he was fine. This show is so misleading. And annoyingly so because it's pretensions are just so transparent. "Make the stiff exec look like a fool and bond with the little people, and then have a corny, squishy-sweet ending when he reveals all that he has learned!" If this was genuinely felt, and not just sly editing with a Disney-esque soundtrack, it might be okay.

But it isn't, so it's not.
